The late Haitian Impressionist Ernst Louizor signed this original 24"x30" contemporary oil painting. This painting represents a market scene painted with a palette knife by the port. It is in good condition and belongs to a private collector in Florida, USA.  

Ernst Louizor was born in Port-au-Prince in 1938 and died on Aug , 2011. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, and thanks to him, Impressionism was reborn in Haiti. He has exhibited in Europe, the US, and Japan; his art is mentioned in all significant Haitian art books.
